A Step-by-Step Look at Our Process

When you’re hiring a contractor for land clearing, septic installation, grading, or full site prep, you deserve to know what to expect.

At Pennington Construction & Land Solutions, we believe good business starts with clear communication, a strong plan, and showing up when we say we will.

Here’s exactly what working with us looks like — from first phone call to final walk-through.

Step 1: Initial Consultation & Discovery

Whether you reach out via phone, email, or through our website, your experience starts with a real conversation — no forms, bots, or vague estimates.

We’ll ask:

What you’re trying to build, fix, or prepare
What stage your project is in (raw land, post-perc, slab ready, etc.)
If you’ve already had tests done or permits started
When you’re hoping to get started

From there, we’ll schedule a site visit that works around your schedule.

Step 2: On-Site Walkthrough

We meet you on the property to walk the land with you. We’ll evaluate:

Access points for equipment
Drainage and slope
Septic suitability
Location for pads, driveways, or structures
Trees or brush to be cleared

This is also where we’ll talk about what you want to do long term so we can set your property up right the first time.

Step 3: Detailed Quote & Timeline

After the walkthrough, we send you a detailed quote with:

All services broken down clearly (no surprises)
Timeline expectations
Equipment and materials needed
Permit coordination (if applicable)

Need grading, septic, and driveway work? We’ll bundle it for you to save time and cost.

Step 4: Project Kickoff

Once approved, we get you on the schedule — and keep you informed along the way. If weather, inspections, or equipment availability affect anything, you’ll know first.

Our team shows up ready to work — with all the right equipment and a plan.

Step 5: Work in Progress

During the project, we stay in contact with you:

Sending updates or photos if you're off-site
Confirming changes or adjustments
Coordinating with other contractors (builders, electricians, etc.) if needed

Our crews are professional, courteous, and clean up after themselves.
