1. Do I really need a perc test?

Yes. A percolation (perc) test is required by the health department to ensure your soil can properly absorb and filter wastewater. No test = no permit = no system.

2. How long does a septic install take?

A standard install takes 1–3 days, depending on weather, soil conditions, inspections, and site prep needs. Delays usually come from permits or wet ground, so planning ahead is key.

3. What kind of system do I need?

That depends on:

Your soil type and perc results
How many bedrooms your home has
Elevation/slope and available space
